OBSERVANCE OF THE 2020 WORLD DAY AGAINST TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS (WDAT) [DIL_MC2020-103]

In 2013, the United Nations General Assembly declared every 30th of July as the World Day against Trafficking in Persons. The day shall be observed to “raise awareness of the situation of victims of human trafficking and for the promotion and protection of their rights.” Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights, hence, everyone should take part in combating human rights violations.
